Email from your own domain

Overview

Sending emails from your own domain through Stiply allows your organization to align communication with internal systems, reinforce brand recognition, and implement a DMARC policy for enhanced email security and deliverability.

1. Why use email from your own domain?

  • Brand consistency: Emails match your internal communications.
  • Improved recognition: Recipients easily identify the sender.
  • Email security: DMARC compliance reduces phishing risk.
  • Better delivery rates: Legitimate emails are less likely to be marked as spam.

2. How it works

  1. You provide approval and a subdomain (e.g. sign.example.com or ondertekenen.example.com).
  2. Stiply sets up a dedicated European mail server to send email via your domain.
  3. You'll receive DNS instructions via email from our development team.
  4. Once DNS settings are applied, notify us to finalize activation.
  5. After activation, emails are sent from your own domain.

3. Requirements

  • Your domain must have the correct DNS records configured.
  • By setting up this feature you agree to the additional costs on your subscription

4. Activation timeline

After DNS configuration, Stiply completes activation promptly. Once active, all signing request emails will originate from your own domain, improving trust and compliance.

Important Notes

  • This feature supports Stiply’s branding capabilities by ensuring consistent email sending.
  • DMARC implementation enhances email security and reduces the risk of spoofing.
  • Email deliverability improves when messages are sent from a legitimate, verified domain.
