How to create and use an Email Template in Stiply

Creating email templates in Stiply helps you save time, work more efficiently, and send personalised messages to your clients.

With just a few steps, you can set up a message that suits your style and reuse it whenever you send a sign request.

Why use email templates?

  • Save time: No need to rewrite the same message each time.
  • Easy and efficient: Templates are ready to go whenever you are.
  • Personalised: Add your own voice and tone for your clients.

How to create an email template

  1. Go to Settings in the top menu.
  2. Click on the Sign requests and email tab.
  3. Under the section Email with sign request, you’ll find the place to create your template.
  4. Click Create new template and fill in the following:
    • Template name: Give your template a clear, recognisable name.
    • Layout: Choose the right email layout.
    • Subject line: What your client sees in their inbox.
    • Body text: Write your message here. This is where you explain what they’re signing and any relevant details.
  5. (Optional) tick the box to set this as the default email for sign requests you sent

Using your email template

When creating a new sign request, go to the page where you add signers. There, you can select one of your saved templates to send the perfect message, every time.

Stiply default email text and accompanying message

If you do not create a personal email template and set it as the default email, Stiply’s default text will be used. It is also possible to add an additional accompanying message by default. This looks as follows:

"Account name" has sent you a document “Document name” requesting your signature.

Here the default email text will be displayed...

You can review and download this document online. If you agree, you can easily add your signature using your mouse or touchpad. The request will expire on End date.

You can enable or disable this setting in your account settings under the Email tab.
