Sometimes an error occurs if you are using a PDF file for a sign request. The error states that is is not possible to sign the document with Stiply because it is not possible to merge the proof document and the signed document. This is caused by a setting of the document that prohibits Stiply of extracting pages. To resolve this issue you will have to follow the steps below and, after you have completed this, sent the sign request again.
Step 1: Open the PDF file
Select the document you want to convert to PDF and open it, the document will most likely open in your browser.
Step 2: Open the print menu
Go to the print menu of your document. There will be a printer-icon in the navigation bar or simply use the shortcut Ctrl + P
Step 3:Select Microsoft print to PDF
In the menu you can select "Microsoft Print to PDF" as the printer. By selecting this you will print your file to a new PDF file.
Step 4: Save the PDF file
Click "Print". Now you can select where to save the file and give the file a recognisable name. If everything is set, save the document
Step 5: Resend the document using Stiply
Now you can start a new sign request and sent the newly converted PDF File to the signer.
